Community Outreach Dental Program
South Australia’s Community Outreach Dental Program (the Program), an initiative of The University of Adelaide Dental School, is a dental clinic based within the Light Square Common Ground community housing complex in Adelaide’s West End.
Supporting hundreds of patients each year the Program provides an invaluable service to a community in need.
Homelessness, rising rents and the everyday struggle to cover the basic essentials of shelter and food can make it difficult, if not impossible, to see a dentist for crucial health care – treatment that can make a significant difference to someone’s physical and emotional wellbeing.
Your gift will help assist our State's most vulnerable and marginalised communities to receive vital dental care. Your donation will be applied towards the Community Outreach Dental Program at the University of Adelaide.

Impact
"The transformation I had through the Program was remarkable. With my new denture, the constant discomfort of missing teeth disappeared, replaced with the joy of a free and open smile. Something as simple as laughter, which I hadn't experienced in years, came back into my life."
"The Community Outreach Dental Program did more than just give me a new smile - they gave me a new perspective on life. The empathy and care I received there are proof that their service is not just about dental health, but about restoring hope and dignity to those who have lost their way. And for that, I will be forever grateful," Program recipient.
