Indigenous Support Fund
The Indigenous Support Fund of the University of Adelaide improves access to tertiary study and facilitates better higher education outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.
This support reduces the financial burden and creates stronger foundations for our students’ success in life and their career. This provides opportunities and will ensure they have the tools they need to excel in their chosen field of study.
Your donation will be applied towards the Indigenous Support Fund at the University of Adelaide.
Matched Giving
The University of Adelaide is matching donations to the Indigenous Support Fund received on or before 5 September 2024 up to $20,000.
Kelly's story
Kelly, driven by his passion for engineering, is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours)(Mechanical) alongside a Bachelor of Mathematical and Computer Sciences. The Yaitya Tipanthi Scholarship has alleviated financial pressures, allowing him to focus on his studies and excel academically. His dedication and commitment, coupled with your support, are paving the way for a promising future in engineering.
“I am so grateful for the scholarship which has enhanced both my university and work life and has made me a better student. It has also provided me with more flexibility to give-back; last year I mentored high school students competing in the F1 in Schools Challenge.”
“I would like to thank the donors to the Indigenous Support Fund. Your generosity has reduced my financial stress and enabled me to benefit from these invaluable opportunities,” Kelly said.
